04 Skill, or the exchange rate

Did I make money, or did the euro?

Earn in one currency, hold in another, spend in a third, and your headline number starts lying to you. A strong year in dollars can be a flat year at home, and no statement anywhere tells you which one you had.

Ovolos splits the change on every foreign-currency account into two numbers — the asset moving and the rate moving — and they always add up to the total. It's the one question a multi-currency owner can never answer, and the one no budgeting app has ever tried to.

06 How it's moving

Growth you can actually attribute

Time-weighted return strips out the balances that arrive with a newly opened account, so adding accounts over the years does not read as return. Then see what drove the change, how much was the market versus accounts you added, and where you could be in 3, 5 or 10 years.

07 Valuing the unlisted

A considered value for what markets don’t price

Plenty of what you own has no public price — real estate, vehicles, a stake in a private company or fund. AI researches comparable sales, market trends and public records to put a value on it, while live feeds price your listed holdings. Every currency rolls up into one base.

08 The conversation

Your assistant can finally see the half that isn't in a bank

Every money app talks to ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini now, and they all read the same current account. Connect Ovolos and yours can answer for the company stake, the fund, the building and the currency you earn in — because we hold those too.

“Did I make money last year, or did the euro?” “What's my stake in the company worth now?” “How much of what I own could I sell this year?” “The fund called €50,000 on Tuesday. Log it.”

Did I make money last year, or did the euro?
You made it. Of +€184,000, currency handed you €31,000 — the dollar sleeve did the work, and sterling took €4,200 back. Strip the FX out and the book is still up €153,000.
fx_attribution
What's my stake in the company worth now?
€1.42M — 18% of the last priced round, held through the trust. It's 31% of your net worth and the single largest thing you own.

Trust & security

Built to be trusted with your whole financial life

A net-worth tracker only earns its place if you trust it with everything. Here's how we earn that.

Read-only bank connections

We connect through your bank's official provider and can only read balances — Ovolos can never move your money.

Encrypted in transit & at rest

Every connection is TLS-encrypted and sensitive data is encrypted in the database.

Passkeys & two-factor

Sign in with a passkey, or a password plus TOTP two-factor and recovery codes.

Isolated per user

Every query is scoped to your own account — your data is never mixed with anyone else's.

Never sold, never shared

We make money from the product, not from your data — it is never sold or shared with advertisers.

You stay in control

Built with GDPR in mind — export or permanently delete your data whenever you want.

How early access works

Three steps to your whole picture

Sign-ups are invite-only while we finish building. Here's the path in.

1

Request an invite

Leave your name and email — that's it. Tell us what you'd track if you like.

2

We review & invite

We welcome new members in small batches and email you a private, single-use setup link.

3

Connect & see it all

Set a password, add accounts or connect banks read-only, and watch your net worth come together.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Is my financial data safe?

Yes. Connections are TLS-encrypted, sensitive data is encrypted at rest, and every query is scoped to your own account. You can sign in with passkeys or two-factor authentication.

Do you sell my data?

Never. We make money from the product, not from you — your data is never sold or shared with advertisers.

Do I have to connect my bank?

No. You can add and update accounts manually. Bank connections are optional and always read-only, so Ovolos can never move your money.

What will it cost?

Ovolos is invite-only while we finish building. We'll share pricing clearly, well before anyone is ever charged.

When will I get an invite?

We welcome new members in small batches. Once you request access we'll email you a private setup link as soon as a place opens.

Can I delete my account and data?

Yes — you can export or permanently delete your account and all of its data at any time.
